Job Summary:
The Manager, Digital Sales Development is responsible for crafting compelling digital and cross-platform advertising strategies for iHeartMedia clients across multiple categories. This role is a key function that will help guide progressive and creative campaign elements that advertisers expect from iHeartMedia.
The employee in this role will have a thorough understanding of all element in our digital portfolio. This role will need to have/develop the following skills to properly meet the demands of our advertisers: determine and plan the best streaming/display media strategy, utilize social distribution tactics/products, integrate branded content techniques within programs, etc. They will also have polished written and oral communication skills to communicate their ideas to sales partners and clients effectively. Collaboration is key as they will be working with Sales, Packaging, Research, Creative Services and Product Teams.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of the digital ideas in internal brainstorms
• Creates and develops proposal decks, media plans, and all supporting materials
• Use documentation and systems to properly assign and track progress of key accounts and pending RFPs
• Use post-sale data to better inform our pre-sale efforts
Experience/Qualifications:
• Sales marketing or sales experience in a digital environment
• Experience across multiple adverting categories
• Proven ability to effectively and efficiently tell marketing stories
• Expert at PowerPoint and Excel
• Intense time management and able to multi-task effectively
• Creative problem solver that can quickly pinpoint client needs
