Summary:
Responsible for identifying and strategizing plans to achieve long-term goals and objectives of the organization. Recommends the allocation of resources to existing businesses; identifies merger and acquisition opportunities. Contributes to the development and interpretation of the organization's business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy.
Core Responsibilities:
• Identify and assess new growth opportunities.
• Develops Company's strategy and execution plan for priority growth initiatives.
• Identify specific targets for partnerships/M&A.
• Responsible for leading due diligence and partnership discussions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to test and launch new growth initiatives.
• Communicates strategy in a meaningful way and develops objectives to align with the strategy.
• Evaluates the economics and business models of specific products/services, companies, and industry sectors.
• Oversees projects for environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses, and other studies related to Company's growth and profitability.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Education Level: Master's Degree or Equivalent preferred. Strong consideration for Bachelor's Degree with the requisite experience
• Generally requires 12+ years related/relevant experience
Preferred Experience:
• Prior management consulting, Private Equity, or Investment Banking experience highly preferred
• Strong finance and modeling skills ability to build as well as guide junior analysts
• TMT (Tech, Media, Telecom) background and/or experience
• Experience evaluating and launching new businesses
• Experience leading and working in cross-functional teams
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility with work schedule and travel as needed ("<10%)
