FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS MANAGER

What We Need:
As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager you will serve as a key interface between Finance and the rest of the business. This is a highly visible role as you will oversee the financial planning process and provide financial and operational reporting that will influence business decisions.
Job Responsibilities Will Include:
• Drive annual budget and monthly forecasting with business partners
• Drive quarterly Sales Target
• Produce, analyse, validate, and distribute Financial Reporting information, including P&L, meaningfully comparing actual results to historicals, budgets, and forecasts; prepare and report insightful variance analyses to identify any risks or opportunities associated with reported financial data
• Leverage strong relationships to understand and speak to monthly variances
• Prepare, review and report monthly/Quarterly financial and operating metrics for the executive team
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and modelling for business partners to support decision making
• Collaborate with other members of the finance team to prepare presentations for the executive team
• Oversee system metadata setup and the validation of rules that your setup drives. (New title codes, projects & contracts settings)
• Develop a proficiency in and a business understanding of all of 2K’s data sources
• Identify areas for process improvement / innovation / automation
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related field
• Minimum of 4-6 years of FP&A experience
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Strong experience with planning systems (Hyperion/Essbase preferred)
• Pro-active problem solver attitude with flexibility to work across different tasks
• Strong work ethic complemented by a positive, can-do attitude
• Experience working with large complex datasets to derive insight and analysis
• High standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
• The ability to think creatively and critically
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
Desirable:
• Excellent knowledge of Power Point
