Job Summary
This Intern will support the Metro Planning Team. Focus areas are Optical Transport and Switched Ethernet Network.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Research transport equipment in several systems.
• Issue network work orders to install or decom transport equipment from the network and from inventory systems.
• Issue work orders to groom traffic to optimize equipment utilization or to facilitate equipment decoms.
• Adhere to established processes and procedures
Qualifications
• Hard working & self-motivated.
• Detail oriented person
• Proficient knowledge of MS Excel and Word a must.
• Working knowledge of SQL a plus.
• Strong communication skills
Currently enrolled in an accredited higher education program in a technical field

Works well with little supervision, reliable/punctual, enjoys working in a team environment. Treats team members with courtesy and respect. Displays integrity even when no one is looking. Able to balance college and business responsibilities.
