Summary
Do you want to be part of a fast paced, innovative and growing organization where your activity directly impacts the bottom line? We are looking for a dynamic Senior Sales Recruiter to join our team. As a recruiter, you will be responsible for hunting down qualified talent for all of our sales positions in our San Francisco office. In this position, you will regularly interface and exchange information with all levels of management while vetting out top talent to join various branches of the sales organization. You will positively promote Yelp to the surrounding community and ensure that we create a world-class candidate experience and remain the most sought after place to work in the San Francisco area.
Responsibilities
• Proactively manage a large pipeline of inbound applicants to effectively identify sales talent for multiple organizations including but not limited to: Local Account Executives, Yelp WiFi, National Account Executives, Yelp NoWait, Management, and Customer Success Managers.
• Manage the applicant through Yelp's interview process while adhering to our applicant qualification standards when conducting phone interviews, onsite interviews, and follow-up calls.
• Frequently audit team pipeline to ensure proper standards are being met and candidate experience is prioritized.
• Work with hiring managers to open new roles, gather feedback, and assist with onboarding new hires.
• Train all hiring managers on interviewing best practices and lead the example in commitment to hitting hiring goals.
• Create a world-class candidate experience through all verbal and written communication and presentations.
• Manage offer and negotiation process, which may include reference and background checks and offer acceptance/declines.
• Track goals, metrics, and performance of the interview process and regularly provide feedback and make suggestions for improvement.
• Plan and host University and Industry recruiting events, job fairs, and unique recruiting strategies and track metrics to determine ROI.
• Build strong relationships with university career services to identify key campus activities that will drive applicants to Yelp.
• Manage the University planning process including marketing campaigns, school partnerships, attendee follow-up and tracking, and Salesforce maintenance.
• Assist in the general maintenance and upkeep of the team’s intranet- Confluence.
• Utilize ATS as well as other sources to identify passive talent when necessary for hard to fill roles.
• May manage the NPS Survey including sending, reporting, and analysis.
• Maintain a strong community network to surface qualified candidates when needed.
• Propose and implement ongoing improvements to recruitment efforts.
• May create and manage an internship program.
• Work with business partners such as HR and Training to gather feedback and make improvements after each hiring class.
• Monitor and suggest appropriate sourcing channels for optimal candidate activity.
• Promote Yelp to candidates and external service providers with enthusiasm, passion, and authenticity at all times.
• Complete thorough, informative, and compliant data on each candidate in the process at all times.
Requirements/Skills:
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a recruiting role with an emphasis on high volume roles or equivalent experience, sales preferred (managing 100-200 candidates at a time).
• Must possess the ability to reach out to passive talent in your network and on LinkedIn.
• Prior experience specializing in management positions and corporate recruiting a plus.
• Prior experience negotiating senior level compensation packages and drafting detailed offer letters.
• Has the ability to project manage initiatives for the department and track milestones.
• Prior experience planning and executing recruiting events such as: job fairs, open houses, campus events, etc.
• At least 3 years of experience learning and implementing ATS best practices and suggesting process improvements.
• Prior experience processing background checks and knowledge of laws surrounding them.
• Experience executing a full-cycle recruiting process.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take feedback and build strong productive relationships.
• High EQ and a demonstrated pattern of positively mentoring others around you.
• Must be knowledgeable and proficient in employment law and immigration requirements.
• Has the ability to conduct thorough and compliant character reference checks.
• Proficiency with OSX and Google Suite.
