Position Overview
As Product Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing marketing programs for our BIM 360 Design cloud collaboration solution to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.
You will collaborate and work closely with the product management and BIM 360 demand generation team to develop marketing messages, content, and collateral that will be used in global sales and marketing programs to communicate the benefits of our cloud collaboration solutions to customers. You will optimize existing social networking channels, and test and develop new social media platforms. You will collaborate with product and marketing teams to create, execute, monitor, and optimize marketing programs for BIM 360 for AEC design segments.
You will need to be an effective communicator who thinks strategically, writes concisely, and works collaboratively.
Responsibilities
CONTENT MARKETING:
• Develop marketing content to support global demand generation campaigns, including articles, ebooks, case studies, videos, infographics, and more
• Develop product marketing content and collateral: sales tools, sales training materials, brochures, white papers, videos, webcasts, customer success stories, etc.
• Create or coordinate the creation of key marketing documents including: email templates, web copy, banner ad templates, product positioning, product descriptions, features & benefits, technical specification sheets, customer stories, workflow analysis, sales tool kits, and other product-oriented marketing information required by sales and marketing
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Traffic marketing assets for internal review & approval
• Consolidate feedback and resolve conflicting comments from multiple approvers
• Assist Marketing with customer events
• Collaborate with Marketing team to create, monitor, and optimize product marketing assets for global marketing campaigns
• Understand target customers, users, and purchase influencers
• Represent the product at industry events and to key audiences
• Develop marketing materials for major partner and customer events, including annual Autodesk One Team Conference and Autodesk University
• Assist in tracking marketing deliverables
• Work cross-functionally with other Autodesk Marketing groups to ensure optimal implementation of various marketing materials from sales tools to web copy and campaign sites
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT:
• Play a key role in defining and driving social media engagement, including presence on Facebook and Twitter
• Increase traffic and membership to key social media properties, currently including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and blogs
• Develop and maintain project schedule and publishing calendar
• Create new content or repurpose existing marketing content
• Manage internal reviews and approval
• Communicate with project team members and other stakeholders
• Provide regular status reports to manager
• Execute approved programs
• Measure and report program results
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver weekly project status report to manager
• Notify manager of issues that may need to be escalated for resolution
• Assist manager and other team members on other marketing projects as needed
• Handle occasional customer inquiries and sales questions
• Keep up to date on new marketing tactics; suggest opportunities to test new marketing methods and media
Minimum Qualifications
• BA, BS or equivalent degree in Marketing or related field
• Excellent writing skills, attention to detail,
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• 3-5 years of experience in a marketing content development role
Preferred Qualifications
• AEC industry experience and/or experience with cloud-based design-tools is a plus
• Exceptional multi-tasking skills
• Demonstrates initiative and is self-driven
• Demonstrated effective communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams and business groups
• Excellent interpersonal skills required in order to build relationships and an ability to be successful in a matrix management organization
