Midroll, named one of Fast Company's most innovative companies of 2016, is growing and we're looking for a Merchandise Assistant!
In this role you would be responsible for supporting the Head of Merchandise to find, develop and ship products. You will monitor and analyze sales records and economic conditions to predict buying patterns and monitor inventory.
Your primary responsibilities:
• Provide purchasing and merchandising administrative support.
• Maintain and update spreadsheets, purchase orders, and sales reports.
• Communication with vendors and warehousing.
• Aid ecommerce product data and launches.
• Use customer data to inform future merchandise strategy
• Liaise with marketing and social teams to promote product.
Education & Experience/Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in merchandising, business or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in buying, planning or merchandising role.

Skills & Abilities
• Strong interpersonal competence and extensive customer service talent.
• Results-oriented individuals with analytical and decision-making ability.
• Knowledge of basic retail math principles.
• Ability to work independently and as well as cross functionally to make sound business decisions.
• Motivated/pro-active mindset in an exciting and robust work environment.
• Ability to adhere to a pre-approved monthly schedule.
• Familiarity and comfort working with spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
• Basic knowledge of negotiation.
