Description
The Radio traffic reporter will fill-in producing live traffic updates for radio and television. Some production or radio station voice tracking is possible.
Key activities
• Gather information and conduct live morning and afternoon traffic reports on-air for radio and television.
• Some production or radio station voice tracking is possible.
• Follow all FCC rules, EAS requirements, state and federal laws and company policies
• Effectively work in a team environment to develop and maintain positive rapport with other staff members, management, clients and listeners
• Operate control board, audio recording and production equipment during radio broadcasts
Education& Experience/Certifications
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in radio broadcasting or related field preferred
• On-air and production experience preferred
• Traffic reporting experience is a plus.

• Good voice quality that includes clear enunciation

• Operate studio equipment
• Computer proficiency
• Reliable and have some production experience
• Knowledge of social media platforms
• Wide Orbit (Scott Systems) automation and Adobe knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work and think under pressure
