Job Description
As a Beverage Manager, you will be one part team coordinator and two parts guest service guru, throwing your charismatic personality straight into the social mix. Your dynamic leadership and ability to communicate with a diverse audience will surprise and delight guests, creating an atmosphere that is alive with energy and sure to lift spirits.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
• Responsible for knowledge of beverage items and ingredients, functions of service employees, house and bar rules and regulations, and alcohol awareness training.
• Ensure proper service and atmosphere for the guests.
• Handle guest complaints.
• Administer all disciplinary action.
• Responsible for all administrative duties including payroll, scheduling, days off, section assignments, early outs, etc.
• Responsible for knowledge of how other departments related to the operation of the Beverage Department, and interact with them when necessary to coordinate activities or correct problems.
• Responsible for maintaining compliance with the Southern Nevada Health Department guidelines.
• Supervise, train and plan, direct all beverage floor employees.
• Ensure that all rules, regulations, and procedures are complied with by employees under supervision.
• Document incidents and events involving guests or employees accurately and in detail.
• Assigns stations and records attendance.
• Inspect employees as to uniforms, cleanliness, identification, etc.
• Assist management in other matters as requested.
• Orders supplies to ensure proper par levels.
• Keep employees informed of new procedures.
• Ensures a safe working environment for employees.
• Promote teamwork among employees.
• Must provide courteous and friendly service to all vendors and employees.
• Performs related work as requested.
• Present self in a professional manner at all times.
• Responsible for complying with Title 26 policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• At least 3 years Food and Beverage management experience in a similar environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to perform basic and intermediate math.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Work effectively with other departments and guests.
• Skill in developing, leading and maintaining guest relations.
• Title 26 knowledge.
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience managing a team under a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
• Previous experience in a high-volume bar environment.

Work is performed in an office environment and throughout the property in all locations. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. A casino environment typically allows smoking.
Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, employees and guests is necessary. Requires prolonged sitting or standing and mobility. Requires bending and reaching. Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires eye/hand coordination. Requires use of standard office equipment. Requires basic math. Ability to push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing up to 5 lbs. Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Ability to and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
