Job Summary:

The company owns and operates 858 broadcast radio stations, serving more than 150 markets throughout the U.S. Plus, iHeartRadio - an industry-leading digital music service - gives users instant access to more than 2,000 live radio stations and allows them to create custom stations inspired by favorite artists or songs, anywhere they are.
As part of the Enterprise Architecture team, the Senior Enterprise Architect shares responsibility in defining the enterprise architecture of iHeartMedia across the business, application, information, and infrastructure domains. The ideal candidate will work with business and IT leaders to understand the business, its value streams, and technology landscape, and will create plans to address gaps and inefficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide architectural leadership across the enterprise by applying strategic thinking and effectively communicating concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Partner with business and IT teams to define long-term architectural vision, business and technical architectures, and enterprise guidelines and standards; ensure delivered projects adhere to the vision and standards by working closely with development teams and reviewing designs
• Develop and maintain a catalog of business and technical capabilities, processes, and technologies; identify gaps and create plans to address them
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of business and IT systems; perform buy vs. build analysis
• Document current-state and target-state architectures and designs
• Promote the use of shared platforms, services, and applications
• Keep abreast of industry standards, technology innovation, architectural trends, and major vendors
Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years of experience designing and building software solutions; preferred minimum 3 years in enterprise architecture
• Broad technical knowledge and experience, including:
◦ Enterprise solution architecture, enterprise architecture and modeling (including TOGAF), cloud architecture (including AWS), and business process analysis (including BPMN)
◦ Software development, technology stacks (open source, Java, etc.), UI frameworks, microservices, RESTful APIs and API management, queuing and messaging, application integration, logging and monitoring, CI/CD, agile/scrum, and DevOps
◦ SQL, NoSQL, ETL, master data management, analytics, and BI
◦ Identity, directory, authentication/authorization, single-sign-on, access management, data privacy, backup, and disaster recovery
◦ Compute, storage, network, load-balancing, scalability, and availability
• Ability to develop prototypes
• Experience in vendor platform evaluations including criteria and scorecard development
• Strong leadership skills to include communication and presentation, ability to influence others, strategic thinking, and accountability
• High attention to detail and strong analytical, organizational, and task management skills
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent preferred
