Job Description
National Sales Manager, (Los Angeles)
Six Flags seeks a National Manager of Sponsorship Sales to generate new and incremental revenue via the sale of 360 degree partnerships with national advertisers based in Los Angeles and throughout the West Coast region. This includes the sale of Six Flags' sprawling portfolio of media, sponsorship and promotion touch points including Six Flags digital advertising, OOH/outdoor media and signage, experiential on-site marketing opportunities, special events, and promotional programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate new business revenue by leveraging Six Flags' portfolio of media products
• Identify prospects for 360 degree corporate alliances partnerships
• Create, write and design customized advertising and partnership platform proposals
• Manage the overall client relationship throughout the sales process from introduction to renewals
• Coordinate program fulfillment with the Six Flags activation and execution team
• Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
• 5+ years of progressive experience in sponsorship, outdoor media, and/or media sales
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
• Functional experience and/or knowledge should include:
• Specific advertising sales and marketing insight and expertise
• Experience in sales, development, and execution of fully integrated marketing programs
Critical Skills
• Cognizant of current advertising trends across all medium and categories
• Able to identify and exploit emerging trends and technologies
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
• A team player who understands the importance of both individual and team performance
• Strong sales and project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple clients simultaneously, under tight time constraints.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications; MSFT PowerPoint a must.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
