Job Description
The Analyst, Media Tech Strategies will support the Director, Media Tech Strategies with a focus on growing and emerging programmatic channels and key industry trends. This includes collaboration on product vision, DSP and vendor management, operational processes, internal and agency education and training. This role will focus on:
• Strategic Vision – work closely with Director, Media Tech Strategies to collaborate across Publicis Media Exchange and other Publicis practices including Data, Tech, & Innovation (DTI) to refine the strategy for offerings and continuously refine the product in collaboration with DSPs and other ad tech partners.
• Tactical Execution – ensure operational excellence through continuous refinement of best practices, tactics, and partners.
• Agency Education – foster strong relationships with Publicis Media agencies, increasing adoption of Publicis Media marketplace guidelines and stances, internal offerings and products.
The ideal candidate will have extensive programmatic digital media planning and buying experience with very strong analytical and writing skills, and the ability to make clear, concise presentations. Most importantly, they must possess a strong inner drive to redesign the digital media landscape, enjoy working with some of the finest minds in the industry, and want to be a part of something truly unique that will have a lasting impact on the Publicis Groupe network of agencies.
Responsibilities:
Group Management
• Serve as a subject matter expert on key industry topics and channels for Publicis agencies.
• Partner with internal teams such as Media Technology Standards and Solutions Consulting to advance PMX programmatic initiatives and the adoption of key strategic priorities.
• Evangelize, train, and collaborate with agency teams on PMX initiatives, marketplace stances and product offerings.
Operational Support
• Provide content and POVs around industry trends and partner or channel updates.
• Contribute to the development of content released by PMX or posted within internal Publicis Media tools.
• Act as a strategic resource to consult on key client business.
• Provide insights and establish relationships with new or highly relevant partners that can expand the Groupe’s programmatic capabilities or help clients meet specific goals.
• Collaborate with other teams to continuously improve operational processes.
Product Strategy
• Lead specific programmatic focused product development initiatives
• Stay abreast of emerging topics in the digital display marketplace through industry trades and connections, including working with partners to gather insights.
• Monitor competitors and the overall industry to ensure Publicis Media maintains leadership in the programmatic space.
• Form project teams within agency contacts to identify needs and use cases for product development initiatives
• Establish project plans and partner with internal DTI teams for development and implementation of product development initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of experience in product management, operations or client services within the programmatic space.
• Strong understanding of the digital media ecosystem with clear grasp of key challenges and opportunities within the marketplace today.
• Strong familiarity with existing and emerging programmatic ad products.
• Familiarity with digital tagging/tracking capabilities, including metrics and KPIs.
• In-depth knowledge of DSPs and SSPs.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects independently from start to finish, working with internal and external teams to make decisions and maintain forward momentum.
• High competency level in MS Office products; demonstrated advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent time management / project management skills, with ability to manage detailed work and communicate project status effectively to all levels.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to improve Publicis Media offerings.
