Position Summary:
The Senior Technical Recruiter will provide functional expertise in the recruitment, sourcing, and hiring of high quality talent for SiriusXM. The role will work on full life cycle recruiting with a focus on technical recruiting for the Streaming Services & Products and Connected Vehicle Services organizations, and other areas as needed. The ideal candidate will have an established recruitment network within these focus areas and can provide high level recruiting support and expertise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for full life cycle technical recruitment, including partnering with all levels of management to gain a full understanding of business requirements in order to source, screen and assess top candidates.
• Develop and manage a large candidate pool through a variety of creative sourcing techniques including: competitive information, social media, cold-calling, advertising, database and organizational affiliations.
• Work as a key member in supporting the company's Diversity Initiatives with a focus on networking and talent acquisition.
• Target the most efficient and effective recruiting methods based on job location, profile and qualifications required of the positions.
• Develop knowledge of the marketplace to ensure competitiveness in hiring.
• Partner with internal HR groups and hiring managers to ensure quality hires and competitive and equitable offers and actively communicate with and update the business groups as appropriate.
• Actively update and maintain accurate information within the company's Applicant Tracking System and keep candidates informed of their status.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, fair employment practices, and compliance with the company's Affirmative Action Plans and FCC EEO reporting.
• Serve as point of contact for candidates and provide information relating to compensation, benefits, and the company.
• Ensure applicants complete all necessary steps prior to hiring such as having appropriate application and background check documentation, and conduct reference checks.
• Respond to inquiries from employees and applicants pertaining to talent acquisition and career opportunities.
• Assist with recruiting operations, stepping in as needed to support background checks, requisition routing and temporary/contingent workforce monitoring.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• None.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of federal/state laws regarding employment and the ability to counsel hiring managers on the hiring process and laws associated with hiring.
• Experience in fostering relationships with Diversity and niche organizations to attract diverse talent is a plus.

• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through projects to completion.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Thorough understanding of Internet (including advanced search engines and databases) and social media as recruitment tools.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency with an applicant tracking system; experience with ADP a plus.
