Job Summary
Responsible for the overall management of end to end Consumer Billing functions for CenturyLink customers. Provide overall accurate and timely customer billing, billing cost containment, billing system maintenance, and user support for internal and external customers; manage all billing functions for Consumer billed in retail billing platforms. Responsible for all changes made to the billing systems and the proper tests and procedure changes. Responsible for vendor relations associated with billing systems and bill print.
Job Description
• Oversee the overall end to end billing process for consumer on monthly billing and reporting.
• Responsibility for overall bill processing, verification, bill production activities, and cost containment.
• Oversee the maintenance and auditing of related tables and files for billing.
• Oversee research, resolution and response to field and Corporate department questions and issues.
• Develop, implement, and oversee the testing of product/program additions or changes, system enhancements, and new subsystems being integrated into the billing system.
• Prepare and monitor yearly budgets for area of responsibility.
• Manage bill print vendor results and relationship.
• Coordinate with vendors or Information Systems to ensure outstanding item resolution and high quality of service
• Responsible for bill quality assurance and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with internal Information Systems teams for reports and special projects.
• Responsibility for the hiring, training, evaluation, guidance, and ongoing supervision and development of personnel within the department.
• Prepare and monitor yearly budgets and forecasts.
• Work with marketing and Quality Assurance on improving customer experience through invoice accuracy and presentation.
• Ensure financial controls are adequately designed and properly implemented.

Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, or Business related field or the equivalent in training and education.
• Minimum 8-10 years experience in billing or programming or related field.
• Supervisory experience.
• Good working knowledge of personal computers, terminal operations, and spreadsheet software.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good negotiating skills.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Goal and detail oriented.
• Good organizational skills.
Preferred
• Masters degree
• Certified Public Accountant

Bachelors or Equivalent
