The Role:
The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing the overall performance of our business, helping to drive revenue and profit goals through developing insights and strategies. The role will involve looking at various market drivers to determine opportunities and assess performance.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in all aspects of the performance management including analytics, reporting, new opportunity identification, and strategic development
• Identify deficiencies and address with appropriate strategy recommendations
• Keep a pulse on technology and product changes and understand the impact to business performance
• Conduct analyses to identify opportunities for increased sales or profit
• Demonstrate appropriate level of understanding of industry dynamics
• Strengthen our analytics capabilities, providing in-depth support to our ticket supply management team, to executive leaders, and to Ticketmaster’s Client organization, which works closely with teams, leagues, promoters, and venues
• Provide ad-hoc analyses as needed
• Utilize internal tools to identify key events and highlight focus areas to Broker Services team
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering
• 3+ years of work experience post-undergrad, preferably in a consulting or e-commerce environments
• Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills
• Comfort with large data sets
• Highly skilled in Excel, SQL, Access, or other big data software - experience with statistical models in a professional setting
• Strong PowerPoint skills, given the variety of audiences needed to influence
• Outstanding communication, attention to detail and organizational skills
• Assertive yet professional demeanor, persistence and willing to lead the way
• Desire to help create a fun and productive culture, leveraging Ticketmaster’s focus on sports and music
