Fox News is looking for a Director to join the Fox Nation team. Designed to enhance the FOX News viewer experience, Fox Nation will take a deep dive into the big issues of the day with live exclusive daily streaming content and long-form programming available only to subscribers.
We are looking for a highly motivated and driven marketer with strong digital and subscription marketing experience and an entrepreneurial spirit to drive the launch of the new brand.
In this position you will manage the dedicated Fox Nation membership acquisition and engagement team and run this direct to consumer marketing function from strategy to implementation. This will include launching the brand and managing integrated customer acquisition, retention and growth plans across Paid, Earned and Owned media with a strong emphasis on Owned.
You will be responsible for managing, reporting and optimizing weekly and monthly acquisition, engagement and churn metrics. You will also be responsible for designing and managing the optimum customer servicing solution - a combination of digital self-service and live customer support.
To be successful you will need to integrate the Fox Nation marketing team’s operations with those of the Technology, Data, Online Store and Content teams – working closely with them to consistently improve the quality of the Fox Nation customer experience and the brand’s overall performance.
As well as managing and liaising internally you will be responsible for managing the outsourced resources put in place to support the marketing function including creative resources, marketing technology and data partners, and customer services teams.
A snapshot of your responsibilities:
• Create and implement a multi-channel marketing, customer acquisition, retention and growth plans
• Create and implement data driven customer engagement activities and optimize throughout the customer life cycle
• Manage the customer service function
• Manage internal and external marketing resources
• Liaise with the Data and Technology teams to ensure we are surfacing and optimizing against the right customer, behavioral and transactional data to both improve customer experiences and business performance
• Report on business performance on a weekly and monthly basis
• Manage a dedicated team of 5 marketers plus external resources
Requirements:
• Strong strategic and management skills
• 3-5+ years of experience with membership/subscription marketing
• 3-5+ years of experience with Direct to Consumer Marketing
• Analytical mindset and an ability to understand marketing, customer experience and business metrics
• Experience with multi-channel performance marketing including: Social, Web, Online, Email, PPC, and Mobile
• Experience in managing Customer Engagement programs
Preferred:
• Experience with content brands
• Experience with live and digital event marketing
