Position Overview
This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to lead the customer marketing and event strategy for our Construction business line. The role would include identifying the industry events critical for Autodesk in Construction to be present at, strategizing, developing and managing the high touch events necessary to engage with our most strategic customers and prospects and communicating internally and externally our event approach to drive awareness, engagement and participation.
The role has global responsibility, where the individual would be responsible for identifying the right industry and customer event mix to achieve the objectives of the business in our key target markets and countries. As the Global Customer Marketing Manager, the individual would be responsible for the development and communication of the strategy and lead a team of marketing specialists who will support the execution of the tactics.
Responsibilities
• Help to position Autodesk as a strategic partner in Construction to drive their business forward leveraging Autodesk technology
• Researching and identifying the appropriate events for the Autodesk Construction Business, including global opportunities for the Construction brand
• Manage the budget for each event, a quarterly and annual budget
• Set measurable objectives for each event by type, size and location
• Develop a mechanism of capturing and distributing leads for each event by type, size and location
• Manage and implement major Autodesk construction led events as well as all construction industry events and tradeshows (including roundtables, conferences, debates, summits)
• Oversee events measurement, including the design and operation of relevant dashboards and reports to forecast, measure, analyze and report on impact of events
• Leverage existing programs, tools and assets designed to showcase Autodesk as a strategic partner to enable the customer to get the most value out of our solutions, relationship and services
• Manage the relationships with 3rd party led events, develop and implement on behalf of the construction team
• Managing an extended team to ensure execution of logistics, staffing, and marketing presence at events
• Developing PR and Social Media plans to promote Autodesk participation
• internally marketing event activities and tracking KPIs and ROI
• Collecting feedback from event attendees to determine areas for improvement, where appropriate
• Define the ongoing strategy for the Autodesk event series for Construction professionals branded as Connect&Construct
• Manage external vendors on the creation of creative and assets to support strategy
• Articulate and gain support and buy in for the industry and customer event strategy among senior executives and stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
