I. Job Summary
| Major goals and objectives.
The Marketing Assistant works closely with the Marketing Manager and Sales Staff to assist in the process of executing news and station sponsorships, advertising product placement and sponsored integration for all FOX5 platforms and programs. Tasks include organizing on-air calendar, gathering information from clients, posting video to social media platforms and assisting in producing On-Air segments for our entertainment/lifestyle show, MORE.
The incumbent works with internal departments including sales, news, promotions, entertainment, engineering and other marketing departments as well as with external customers.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years directly related experience.

• Must have a proven track record in successful collaboration across teams, divisions and platforms.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines.
• Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer-service skills and show extreme professionalism when dealing with clients.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and follow-through skills.
• Strong computer skills - including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and non-linear editing i.e. Adobe Premiere or Avid.
• Strong analytics, strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape is a must.
• Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
