The Procurement Manager will manage and control supply chain and procurement activities of the internal purchasing team members and external vendors and suppliers to meet the business needs of the organization. This position serves as primary interface between Altice USA and the supplier base, responding to contract-related operational and administrative issues, RFP questions and answers and manages the procurement process from start to finish. This includes but is not limited to execution against Category Sourcing Plans, cost/proposal and other financial analysis, order placement and oversight.
The position will manage vendors and suppliers to achieve improved cost, quality, service, technology and innovative solutions across various procurement and strategic sourcing categories. The Procurement Manager will develop and become proficient in category procurement in order to support internal team members within the category, as well as the respective functional business unit teams.
• BA/BS in Business or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in materials management, purchasing or as a front-line supervisor
• High degree of stress tolerance and commitment to team objectives
• Experience with managing and integrating a variety of services or product lines
• Experience collaborating with peers and other functional teams
• Experience in a high-volume or customer-centric environment with a focus on quality and service excellence
