Job Summary
Seeking a Talent Acquisition- University Relations Recruiter who will utilize strong ‘client’ relationship management skills to partner with key stakeholders; business partners, academia and students at target universities, driving key aspects of the internship program as well as championing the company brand to build a pipeline of student and early entry talent.
Job Description
• Responsibilities:
• Build partnerships with colleges; academia and student body to facilitate interest in the company, including building a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for internships and entry-level positions
• Execute campus programs and activities to support the recruitment strategies for assigned company lines of business
• Actively participate in campus programs and activities at assigned universities. Ability to present on campus, create presence and excitement around our company
• Build strong, credible, effective relationships with hiring managers, internal associates and external candidates, that bring value to the recruitment process
• Manage all aspects of the intern recruiting process, including sourcing and reviewing applicant qualifications, conducting phone screens, participating in on-site interviews, checking references and extending offers to candidates.
• Provide guidance and leadership to hiring managers holding accountable for interview process; identifying talent and maximizing candidate pipeline and candidate follow up importance
• Communicate proactively with all candidates and stakeholders
• Work closely with Hiring Managers using a consultative approach. Basic knowledge of the business outside of core customer base. Manage internal client relationships. Work with business units and department clients to determine their strategic staffing needs and address current and future staffing needs. Ability to work directly with executives.
• Drive the focus on the candidate experience to ensure our candidates are treated with the highest standards of customer service, integrity and professionalism
• Stay abreast of and identify trends for continued transformation of talent engagement on campus
• Actively work with business to manage concerns and work to problem solve recruiting challenges
• Strong assessment skills to match business requirements. Skilled at handling a heavy requisition load and holding hiring manager accountable to the recruiting process.
• Understanding and strong working knowledge of recruiting tools. Ensure data within the internal recruiting database (Taleo) is up to date with most accurate candidate profile, requisition, offer, etc. information.
• Share in the responsibility of filling internship and entry-level hiring needs with full cycle intern new hire process and onboarding
• Execute administrative tasks in an organized fashion, with strong attention to detail and follow up skills – managing the process; candidate screening, communication with candidates etc
• Coordinate and manage all logistics associated with hosting on-campus recruitment activities at targeted universities within identified area
• Ensure that internal and external events are properly staffed with the correct volunteers in attendance; coordinating pre and post event communications
• Compile campus recruiting and internship results to aid key stakeholders in identifying areas for process and performance improvement
• Leverage social media to engage with prospective candidates and build the company brand
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• Minimum 2 - 4 years related experience
• Experience with recruiting applicant tracking systems / databases (Taleo, SuccessFactors, Salesforce Ceridian, etc.) required.
• Experience with HRIS (ie: Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.) systems strongly preferred.
• Ability to influence people and processes.
• Ability to negotiate, coach, and counsel.
• Ability to prioritize appropriately.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management, both inside and outside of the organization.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
• Master's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• Minimum 1-2 years related experience
