What the job is:
You will work closely with Live Nation’s IT team and businesses across the corporation to support Corporate IT. You will be responsible for preparing accruals, monthly financial statements, and ad-hoc reports by collecting and summarizing account information. You will also be responsible for providing both high level and detailed analysis of the Capital spend as well as analysis of the P&L for domestic and international areas. In addition, you will also be responsible for maintaining headcount information and reporting confidentially. This role affords a strong financial analyst the opportunity to broaden your skills into the areas of Technology at a large entertainment company.
Responsibilities include:
• Assist in tracking the department budget, forecasts and analyze risks/benefits
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial performance packages for the Technology departments
• Prepare detailed variance analysis comparing Actuals to Forecast and also to Plan, including identifying significant variances and informing business leaders accordingly
• Monthly Close - Support the Accounting department in the financial close process and assist with coding of invoices and approval process
• Maintain accurate and timely employee headcount information for management reporting Annual Operating Plan - Assist in the creation of the Annual Operating Plan for Technology departments, including preparation of budget templates and budget presentation packages

• Additional analytical tasks and special projects as assigned
What a qualified candidate should possess:
• BA/BS degree preferred in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related
• 2-4 years experience in a finance environment such as a financial planning & analysis, reporting or similar function with a global, multi-location corporation
• Superior analytical skills - experienced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required. Knowledge of Oracle/BPC is a plus
• Knowledge of operational IT finance a plus
• Must be detail oriented and a self-starter with a positive attitude
• Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, organize, and perform multiple tasks with varying deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interface at all levels with internal and external constituents
• Experience in entertainment, sports or other event businesses desirable
