The right candidate is someone who thrives on being an original thinker and thrives on developing and selling new and creative ideas. You must have demonstrated the ability to close large integrated media solutions with multiple components and work with a range of personalities both on the client and agency sides of the business. Knowledge of digital content and its role in shaping and complementing broadcast media is key. Ability to multi-task/manage projects, while advising clients at various stages of a deal is crucial. A developed rolodex of national clients and higher-level relationships with agencies is required and is critical to your success.
Qualifications:
What you bring to the table:
You must have experience in selling multiplatform campaigns.
• At least 7 to 10+ years of proven ability to sell marketing and media strategies
• Track record of building brands and innovative client development via the creation fully integrated media solutions
• Demonstrated ability to be a consultative partner with your client (not a transactional seller!)
• Media sales (Digital, Social, TV, Print, Cable, Radio, and Event/Experiential) experience a plus
• Ability to contact, develop and pursue direct accounts, ad agencies
• Agency and/or Client media planning/strategy experience desired
• Dynamic presence, stellar written and presentation skills a must
• Must be willing to travel (and at times, on short notice)
• Must be tech savvy (including a familiarity with sales tools, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office)
• Must be a team player
• Must be a strong multi-tasker and extremely organized
