Description:
The Marketing & Promotions Department Intern will gain experience and practice skills involving:
• Observing day-to-day communications and marketing operations
• Learning how to monitor and schedule social media efforts
• Learning how to formulate online presence on local online publicity calendars and social networking sites (Facebook & Twitter)
• Assisting with the distribution of weekly events & promotional updates
• Learning online research processes for upcoming exhibits and events
• Assisting with data collection
• Assisting with research for On-Air personalities
• Assisting with web services such as programming and promotional content
Qualifications:
Internships are available year-round and are 12-15 hours per week (specific days and times agreed upon in advance). All interns must be enrolled in a college or university and receive college credit for their internship. Students are expected to obtain, and complete, any forms necessary to receive credit for the internship experience. INTERNS ARE NON-PAID POSITIONS.
