Position Overview
As a Manager of Web & eCommerce for Americas, you work with Demand Generation and regional teams to achieve a combined eCommerce and inside sales goals. You'll collaborate with peers and teams across your region as programs, campaigns and platform enhancements are launched, analysed and optimized. Communication, analysis and great execution skills are all critical to your success.
Responsibilities
Directly impact the business by:
• Driving site conversion to purchase
• Driving qualified phone calls from eCommerce platforms to Inside Sales (when necessary) where they are converted to (digital) direct sales
You do this by:
• Partnering with Demand Generation, Paid Media and Marketing teams in your region to effectively convert traffic and maintain efficient feedback loop to help increase qualified traffic
• Ensuring successful planning, execution and optimization of key business drivers, including promotions and merchandising
• Understand local purchase behavior, adapting visibility of contact options (phone numbers and others) accordingly
• Integrate usability studies, customer feedback, research and market analysis into testing and optimization plans to improve conversion
• Making data-driven decisions, to support that planning, execution and optimization. You’ll pull data from Site Catalyst, as well as working with your team’s analytics, testing and optimization teams to acquire and understand the data
• Collaborating with Affiliate Marketing to optimize in-region performance
• Ensure site and purchase experiences reflect local requirements and expectations, while staying close to the core Autodesk experience
• Plan, coordinate and implement promotions, working closely with Store Operations
◦ Obtain and/or assist in creation of assets (images, copy, banners…)
◦ Effectively communicate status to stakeholders
• Quickly understanding and presenting promotion results, both as high-level snapshots and in deep dives. Determining next steps with cross-functional team
• Owning and communicating essential detail within the Digital & eCommerce team:
◦ Quarterly web marketing calendar
◦ Quarterly & Annual promotion calendar
◦ Quarterly site/editorial merchandising calendar
• Staying up to date on evolving online media and technology trends, including peer/competitive company use as well as the digital world at large
• Owning and communicating essential detail across the Digital & eCommerce and Inside Sales teams:
◦ Ensure ecommerce promotions are communicated to and supported in Inside Sales hubs
◦ Maintain efficient feedback loop with other Web & eCommerce Managers to increase quality and quantity of calls and chats driven by/from sites
◦ Assist in defining manual order tool requirements, acting as a critical voice from local sales reps into DEC. Help to quantify impact and advocate for prioritization
◦ Advise on process improvements, both within the hubs and in SF (core processes)
◦ Ensure required processes are followed (security audits…)
◦ Support training updates, both optimizing usage and introducing new features. Potentially training reps on site as new features are released
Minimum Qualifications
As a great candidate for this role, you have…
• 4+ years experience in B2B eCommerce. You have proven experience in promotions, merchandising, and creating effective customer web experience
• Strong communication skills and a highly collaborative approach. You listen, seek to understand, engage in difficult conversations, and escalate quickly
• Keen analytics skills, especially with Site Catalyst and potentially Google Analytics. You understand and have significant experience with A/B and multivariate testing. You use data from multiple sources to drive meaningful actions
• Appreciation of key metrics, from traffic and purchase conversion to page load times. You understand how each of these impacts your ability to meet goals and know how to influence them
• A customer experience perspective. You understand and have experience with many of the components that make up a great web experience: Visual Design, UX, Content, Paid Media, SEO, Social, and many more
• Business and Finance acumen. You understand and have experience being accountable to finance metrics. You see this as a benefit
• Excellent project management skills.You organize complex work, delivering high-quality on time
• A “hands-on” approach.You approach challenges with the belief that you can figure it out and jump in to solve the problem or get things moving
• The courage and energy to persevere when systems or structure don’t support where we need to go. And the ability to find ways to do things while those systems and structures catch up with us
• Any additional Americas language (Spanish, Portuguese) is a plus
• Sales experience or close familiarity with the terminology and how sales teams work is a plus
