Universal Publishing Production Music (UPPM), a division of Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), creates, produces, and licenses music for use in film, television, advertising, broadcast and other media. The US Technical Analyst (TSA) will be part of International Digital Services, the group responsible for managing digital content and development & delivery of technical solutions for UPPM
Job Functions:
The US Technical Analyst will be responsible for providing the following services to the UPPM US-based businesses:
Technical Services
• Serve as a support resource for all applications included but not limited to: the websites, DAMS, CRM, MusicCache, ScoreAddiction, Cue Sheets, Soundex and Soundminer.
• Work with customers & internal staff to identify issues involving web applications, spot common trends and advise on solutions.
• Log and maintain issue cases in CRM.
• Assist with user testing for new software releases.
Reporting Services
• Prepare and deliver weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly application reports as required by management.
Content Deliveries
• Fulfill new and replacement hard drive orders and monthly music updates for clients, 3rd party aggregators and music detection services.
• Maintain audio master builds for each format type (wav, mp3)
Other
• Control ordering of hard drives and invoice processing through company’s Uniport system.
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Must be highly organized
Experience:
• Possess working knowledge of SQL, MS Access, Excel, PowerShell or similar scripting technologies
• Possess working knowledge of both Windows and Mac operating system environments
• Possess working knowledge of major web browsers, Java Plug Ins and audio/media players
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree
