Bose is looking for a Global Market Category manager for our innovative and growing Software and Wellnesscategories. Part of the Marketing Team, the Global Market Category manager understands how software can shape and enable enhanced product experiences while working closely with the software product management team to communicate and translate software features and capabilities into key customer benefits. Additionally, in this role, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the newly established Wellness product category, analyzing the category and recommending launch and lifecycle activities to improve product performance globally. Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
Strategic Skills:
• Ability to work closely with highly technical teams to shape and humanize software enabled-product experiences. Ability to translate software capabilities and technologies into customer benefits to help internal teams more effectively do their jobs (Marketing, Training, Sales). Develop tools to facilitate sharing and understanding.
• Ability to connect customer needs and expectations to software-enabled capabilities and product experiences.
• Strong analytical skills to support decision making, including ability to analyze, synthesize, and share relevant market data and key insights with key stakeholders.
• Strength in navigating ambiguity and establishing new processes, working closely with global teams and leveraging best practices.
• Collaboration & Relationship building. Candidate will be working in close partnership with regional sales leadership and marketing organizations as well as the software and wellness category teams.

Core Responsibilities:
More specifically, the Global Market Category manager for Software and Wellness will be responsible for:
• Software
Upstream Planning:
• Be the interface between Product team and Global Sales and Marketing.
• Educate Marketing teams on true, tangible benefits of current and future software-enabled experiences to optimize Marketing strategy. Help translate the vision and direction.
• Partner with Marketing & Communications Planning and Product Teams to input into the development of the experience-based roadmap. Serve as input into annual Marketing Planning process.
Downstream Execution:
• Develop timely and consistent communication process and tools to keep teams informed of the latest software updates and the benefits they deliver. Track and communicate global expansion of compatibilities and any regional differences.
• Recommend and drive leadership alignment on software release dates globally.
• Represent Software-enabled experiences on the Regional Sales Leadership teams.
• Partner with 3rd Party Software – Works with Bose team to understand the partnership landscape & opportunities and how capabilities might differ by region.
• Present new product experiences and represent category to internal (sales, training) and external stakeholders (resellers) as needed.
• Wellness Category:
◦ Be one of the key marketing stakeholders for the growing Wellness category.
◦ Provide global insights to product teams regarding market conditions to be considered for product and marketing plans.
◦ Recommend and drive leadership alignment on product launch dates globally.
◦ Provide new product pricing input and context globally.
◦ Support regional product launches as required, including distribution recommendations.
◦ Develop fiscal year promotional plan recommendations that include offers, key drive times, and end of life opportunities. Gain alignment with Regional Sales Leadership teams on promotional plan and manage promotions intake document and approval process.
◦ Track, facilitate issue resolution/decision and report on the execution and results of the agreed upon category plans
◦ Present new products/product experiences and represent category to internal (sales, training) and external stakeholders (resellers) as needed
Experience:
• At least 7-10 years of experience in Product or Technical Marketing, Sales, Business Planning & Analysis or similar role
• Experience working with software-related products
• Experience working in cross-regional or global organization
• Experience working in cross functional teams
