Product Manager, Innovation
Job Description
The Product Manager in the Innovation Unit, you will own the product roadmaps for new and existing mobile initiatives. You will bring a combination of strong vision, analytical skills and high-level product process to ensure success. You are data-driven and seek out customer feedback to answer the why. You have experience working with engineering teams to scope, estimate, prioritize and drive development of product features from idea through release. Communication is key as you will partner with all areas of the company including editorial, design, marketing, sales, customer experience, advertising and engineering to define and execute on new ideas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Working with leadership team to align on product vision, timelines and internal handoffs.
• Identifying opportunities for new features and products.
• Specifying functional requirements through users stories for development teams based on design specifications.
• Coordinating product releases across a number of development and quality assurance teams, managing priorities, timelines and dependencies
• Leading daily stand up and other agile ceremonies to track progress of products under development and clear any blockers
• Constant iteration based on data and customer feedback.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to get buy in and coordinate dependencies between teams.
• Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
• Vetting and managing of vendors, maintaining timelines and budgets.
