Job Title
Senior Account Executive
The Sr. Account Executive, MXM manages the day- to-day relationship between Meredith Xcelerated Marketing, the client and partner agencies in an ongoing client relationship marketing program. This position collaborates with the Group Account Director and Strategy departments to ensure client(s) marketing objectives and service needs are being met. The Sr. Account Executive, MXM contributes to increasing existing business, enhancing profit performance and maintaining income streams.
Essential Job Functions

Coordinates resources to address client needs, including but not limited to interactive, consumer marketing, consumer insights, legal, production and third parties. Ensures on-time external deliverables are being met. Creates client communications relating to purpose, rationale, needs and due dates. Attends and sometimes leads client presentations relevant to program success. Establishes and maintains a direct relationship with the client and partner agencies.

Performs project management of all aspects of the client program. Facilitates communications, opens projects, updates status reports, leads status meetings and issues call reports. Ensures internal deliverables are being met. Works with the Group Account Director; reviews and provides input on materials before being sent to client to ensure client’s marketing objectives are being met. Accepts and distributes client changes to internal team. Holds meetings with creative, production, traffic, data, editors, designers, project editors, freelancers and third parties.

Implements online content with a strong tie-in to content used in direct mail program. Coordinates other CRM projects including direct mail initiatives (test programs and new creative). Assists management with strategy development. Supports day-to-day budget management and reports.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience
Experience:
Four to six years related experience including Internet and Direct Marketing experience.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good presentation skills.
Financial acumen critical for detailed financial responsibilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Good interpersonal skills.
