Executive Director (US)
Integral Ad Science (IAS) is seeking a dynamic, highly-motivated Executive Director to join our Americas Client Development Sales team.
IAS’ core lines of business focus on maximizing the value of digital advertising investments by increasing ad viewability and exposure, reducing fraud and ensuring that ads are strategically aligned to publishers and content that support the brand’s values.
Executive Directors (ED’s) are focused on the acquisition of Tier 1 Enterprise accounts for our core lines of business. This requires the development and management of key relationships across the brands’ and agencies’ executive teams. ED’s are tasked with developing and executing new account pursuit strategies, as well as being a consultative partner to the client and work closely with our internal Client Growth and Client Success teams. This position requires an ambitious, highly driven, self-starter who likes to collaborate with internal and external contacts to progress through the sales process, from prospecting, to the pitch, scoping, negotiating business and legal terms, through final contracts.
Responsibilities:
• Strategically and decisively grow the IAS account base by leading pursuit of named tier 1 accounts and building relationships across the prospect enterprise to secure commitment based agreements in the Americas region
• Secure key advertiser accounts to grow market share independently and in concert with IAS Growth and Customer Success teams
• Drive relationships with large brand advertisers and their digital/social agencies to align their needs to the opportunities and values presented by IAS’ solutions
• Ensure the business has visibility and accurate forecasts of where and when revenue can be expected
• Partner closely with the Client Growth, Client Success, Client Services, Marketing and Product Management teams to maintain a high-level of understanding regarding the digital advertising landscape, the needs of our target market and the distinct values delivered by the IAS product offerings
Experience:
• 10+ years of enterprise solution sales experience to senior decision makers in the marketing/advertising departments of tier 1 brands and/or agencies (3+ years selling SaaS model solutions), with a strong preference towards enterprise license models
• Ad Tech, Marketing Tech or Digital Sales experience/knowledge is preferred, with an understanding of the digital media landscape and key players IAS competes and partners with for success
• Proven engagement, deal negotiation and contacts within tier 1 brand digital marketing/advertising
• Track record of creating, managing and closing complex, multi-stage sales cycle opportunities
• Ability to articulate account pursuit and growth methodologies used and successful outcomes
• Verifiable track record of exceeding sales quotas on a quarterly basis
• Impeccable attention to detail; service-minded and team-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team selling environment
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills; strong PowerPoint, Excel and Google docs skills
• Experience with Salesforce.com, or similar CRM and Forecasting tools
• Familiarity with Value Selling framework, or similar Selling frameworks and ability to adapt to Value Selling
• BA/BS degree required
