SHOWTIME Networks Inc. is looking for a Temporary Manager in the Marketing department who has prior experience working on high profile events, preferably in the entertainment space. The manager will report to the Director of this department and will be responsible with assisting on all aspects of the event.
The manager will help plan and oversee the implementation of the event from beginning to end including set up and take down. Details of the position include managing the venue, design aspects, sourcing items, food/drink, technical services, entertainment, transportation, travel accommodations, budget and timelines.

• Excellent project management skills, a multi-tasker that can oversee several tasks at one time in a sometimes pressured, deadline-driven environment
• The ability to move at a rapid pace efficiently and effectively that can meet deadlines from across the company
• A collaborator that communicates effectively yet has the ability to operate independently
The manager should be proactive, an independent thinker with a creative sensibility and great attention to detail. Have strong problem-solving skills and a “can-do” attitude. Must also be able to handle numerous last-minute requests with the ability to be resourceful and quick thinking to resolve a matter in the most seamless way possible. Knowledge of the creative process for both print and digital are preferred.
