Job Title
Account Director - CrossBrand CRM
Based out of MXM’s Troy, Michigan office, the Account Director (AD) manages Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Cross Brand CRM business. This position interfaces with clients at all levels, MXM team members across all services, senior management, and partner agencies, to ensure that MXM products and services exceed client expectations. The AD will be accountable for directing all associated internal MXM resources in data and campaign management, analytics, strategy, finance, creative, and print and digital production.
Serving as a primary day to day contact, the AD is responsible for leading the development of program objectives, strategies and plans, and delivering a SOW to the client and MXM team for Cross Brand marketing programs that include data-driven digitally printed direct mail and dynamically generated email campaigns designed to drive FCA sales. The AD is expected to seek out and seize upon opportunities to improve program strategies and plans throughout the year and introduce appropriate innovations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in leading complex, data driven, customized marketing communications projects successfully.
The AD has accountability for all processes related to pricing, invoicing and budgeting, along with supporting the Executive Group Director in renewing or developing new contracts.
The AD currently manages five Account Management staff that includes goal setting, performance management, career development and coaching.
Essential Job Functions

Strategy and Planning
Assist the Executive Group Director, in collaboration with Brand and Service & Parts Account couterparts, in the development of strategy and communications plans aimed at achieving defined client objectives.

Financial Management
Initiates and manages processes related to pricing, invoicing and budgets, obtaining necessary internal approvals.

Business Development
Evolves existing programs and/or generates new programs by leveraging client relationships, client feedback, program measurement, new products/services, or unmet needs.

Account Management
Interfaces on a daily basis with clients, MXM team members across all services, senior management and partner agencies to ensure programs are implemented, on target with objectives, budget and schedule. Intercedes between client and team on issues related to changes in project scope, budget or strategic direction and troubleshoots situations that threaten deliverables. Directs MXM internal and external resources and oversees associated processes.

Management
Participates in the recruitment of staff resources needed to support business, across all services being sold.
Provides daily direction and guidance to subordinate(S), coaching and development opportunities, recognition and feedback, and performance management as required.
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Advertising preferred, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
Minimum eight years of experience in account management, account planning, marketing or database marketing.
Past CRM and supervisory experience required.
Past automotive experience preferred.
Prior experience in building teams to meet growing account needs
Experience in a creative agency environment is preferred
