Position Overview
Design and author digital media for live events, corporate communication, marketing, web applications, and various other distribution channels such as broadcast. Generate and manipulate graphic images, animations, sound, text, and video into seamless multimedia programs. Support internal PSAV customers.
Key Job Responsibilities (Weight %)
Content Creation (40%)
Operate authoring software, singularly or as part of a design team, to create digital deliverable by leveraging various digital art disciplines. Ensure deliverables meet the quality standards and communication objectives of the producer and client. Deliverables will be output to the required format.
Concept Solutions & Development (30%)
Work with the Producer and/or other members of the design team to develop concepts that are of excellent quality and executable within an appropriate time-frame. Including: utilization of artistic competencies such as drawing for storyboards or illustration and compositional balance. Recommend usage of authoring tools and techniques. Remain aware of digital media trends and communicate visually.
Information Management & Organization (15%)
Organize and maintain workstations to ensure efficient operation. Hardware and software will be kept current through regular updates. Authoring files, assets, drafts, and final masters will be organized and appropriately backed up. Proper filing methods and naming conventions will be maintained.
Industry Knowledge (10%)
Research the latest and most impressive digital content and expand capabilities by running tutorials and expanding knowledge of the software. Tutorial projects will serve the purpose of exhibition pieces to showcase capabilities and/or serve as assets on future projects.
Internal Communication (5%)
Promote Creative Services to internal client during natural interaction. Share information and recommended best practices with any managers or coordinators served to improve understanding of workflow and efficiency beyond the department.

Required Experience:
• 4+ years digital media production or BA/BS degree in related field required
• Moderate degree of creative latitude expected
• Advanced computer skills on both PC and Mac platforms include MS Office products and proficiency with photo and graphics production tools including but not limited to, Final Cut Studio, 3DS Max, ZBrush, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash, and ProTools
• Minimum of 3 discipline specializations among the following:
◦ Web design, graphics, and scripting
◦ Layout, static graphics design,and/or presentation design
◦ 2D Animation
◦ CG graphics:
# 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting
# 3D environmental/scenic design and rendering
# 3D rigging and animation
# 3D partical effects
◦ Special Effects and compositing
◦ Video editing and compression
◦ Audio editing and sound design
• Position will require knowledge of compression and delivery formats
• This position requires strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Drawing, painting, or other physical art proficiency preferred
