This is a rare opportunity to join the iHeart Media group as a full-time Board-Op/Morning Drive Associate Producer for News/Talk 710 WOR-AM. This position is based in Tribeca, New York.

This is a rare opportunity to join the iHeart Media group as a full-time Board-Op/Morning Drive Associate Producer for News/Talk 710 WOR-AM. This position is based in Tribeca, New York.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Operate control board for studio programming
• Regulate timing of programs, operate syndicated programming and play commercials
• Must be able to follow a commercial log
• Knowledge of NexGen/Prophet operations a plus
• Experience in operating digital delay machines a plus
• Experience in podcasting and other digital audio back-end operations a plus
• Off-air support of commercial production
• You’ll work with and under the direction of the executive producer of the morning show to help generate audio, digital, and other content for the program and its on-air and digital platforms
• You'll need to be confident, knowledgeable about the radio industry itself. Must have good writing skills and have the ability to develop great relationships and contacts.
• Excellent judgment in prioritizing multiple stories and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of current events and key local news figures
• Demonstrate organizational skills and must be flexible to multi-task, shift focus, and re-prioritize as the situation dictates.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and have demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and to make independent decisions.
• Must be experienced in utilizing social media effectively
• Must have digital editing skills
• Station is the New York Mets’ radio flagship…being a Mets fan a plus!

Requirements:
• Must have 2-4 years hands-on radio producing and board-op experience in a medium and/or major market
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
