The Operations Analyst reports to the Manage of the Education Operations unit, and is responsible for operations analysis and reporting related to various department functions including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and scheduling of tutors as well as relevant management/supervision for specified programs. This hands-on position will also assist in the design, implementation, and tracking of improved processes and operational policies.
Ability to work remotely from a Washington DC location.
Responsibilities:
The Operations Analyst will play a critical role in the unit’s operations and relevant information analyses. The Specialist will have the following responsibilities:
• Collecting and analyzing data on service operations,
• Keeping track of vital operations statistics including usage, staffing and costs,
• Working with senior management on forecasting key operational variables,
• Providing operational information to other business units,
• Providing support in various administrative management tasks,
• Preparing reports for the executive management,
• Relevant management/supervision for specified programs,
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
Education, Skills and Knowledge
Bachelor degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Working knowledge of SQL &/or MySQL skills required.
Two plus years in education, assessment industry or project management experience.
Computer proficiency - MS Windows, Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint; including ability to create reports, graphs, flow charts, and pivot tables
Knowledge and experience with workforce management systems, such as Aspect or Verint highly desired.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Excellent organization skills required
