We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Temporary Sales Auditor for our corporate office in Newport Beach, California. This is a full time temporary position which will run from mid-April until Mid-September 2018.
This compensation for this position is $16.00 per hour and there may be some opportunities for overtime.
Palace Entertainment owns and operates 21 amusement parks throughout the United States. Summer is the busiest time of year for our parks.
The primary functions of this job include but are not limited to:
• Auditing the sales data of our amusement parks on a daily basis.
• Confirming credit card transactions through online resources.
• Communicate with the parks daily to ask questions and resolve discrepancies.
• Critical thinking skills required to understand the operations of each park and adapt auditing methods for each park.
• Post daily revenue activity in the general ledger.
• Adjust the general ledger for errors found during the sales audit process.
• Research and log chargeback information.
Skills, Abilities, Equipment Used and Knowledge:
• Experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
• Experience with Sage MAS500 preferred.
• Previous Sales Audit experience preferred.
• Fast learner with the ability to quickly pick up computer programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Organized and able to multi-task.
• Ability to communicate progress to supervisors and to alert them to any problems on a timely basis.
Education/Experience:
• High school diploma is required.
• College education or equivalent experience is preferred.
