Job Description
Job Summary:Six Flags Team Members are friendly, professional, and creative in their ability to provide impactful guest experiences. As a Ride Maintenance Lead, you will work behind-the-scenes to ensure that every guest enjoys a safe and positive experience. The Ride Maintenance Lead enthusiastically moves throughout the park to complete a wide range of tasks in a timely and efficient manner: repair and maintenance, preventative maintenance, service calls, training, scheduling of work and adherence to all safety, park and departmental policies.
Essential Job Duties:
• Follow all policies and procedures of Six Flags Concord and the Maintenance Department.
• Adhere to all federal and state guidelines, regulations, and laws.
• Perform regular mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ensures proper use of machines, tools and equipment, and ensures that the employees are properly instructed and trained on the safe use of tools and equipment used while performing work, and that personal protective equipment is used in accordance
• Performs frequent daily site inspections of ongoing work and review of upcoming work.
• Checks Park areas frequently for any needed repairs and maintenance.
◦ Conduct rounds of all filtration areas to inspect pumps
◦ Basic water testing using correct lab practices and procedures.
◦ Maintain communication with Supervisors and department management to ensure proper team member training is adhered to
◦ Use computers for communication, chemical monitoring/operation, reference, and reports/logs.
◦ Keep records and inventory.
◦ Participate in the inter- and intra-departmental cross training program.
◦ Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• At least two years prior supervisory experience in a related field.
• Prior experience as a Ride Mechanic, Water Quality Technician or the equivalent experience.
• Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills are critical for success.
• A working knowledge of Federal, State and other regulatory agencies rules and regulations are vital to success
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and be capable of bending, squatting and kneeling.
• A working knowledge of the operation of hand and power tools, heavy equipment, etc., with the proven ability to train others on the safe usage of equipment is critical to success
• Proven ability work outdoors in all-weather condition and in muddy, dusty, wet and dirty conditions.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
