21st Century Fox seeks an exceptional Technical Analyst to join its Privacy Team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge, technology-oriented privacy and data security issues relating to all aspects of Fox's global entertainment business, including consumer-facing websites, mobile applications, online advertising, policy and training, investigations, litigation, government relations, legislation and industry self-regulation. Working with Fox colleagues and business leaders, you will assist in implementing principles such as privacy by designing and assisting with Fox's digital strategy.
Responsibilities:
• In this role, you will provide support to the Privacy Department Attorneys relating to technical product reviews and testing of online and mobile products and services for privacy and data security issues.
• Conduct legal and industry research and investigation for data security and privacy issues for internal education and training programs.
Qualifications
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a technology related field and familiarity with privacy and data security laws and self-governing frameworks and standards, including COPPA, CAN-SPAM, Cal-OPPA, OBA Self-Governing Principles, and mobile best practices.
• Must have a technical background with an understanding of Internet technologies, including tracking technologies, interest- based advertising, video delivery, social media APIs, and mobile applications.
• Must have technical experience applied to legal considerations and a basic understanding of website development processes is strongly preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented, and will have superior communication, project management, organizational, and writing skills.
• IAPP certification, proficiency in MS Office, Westlaw, and PACER is a plus.
