Gaming Ambassador-MPI
JOB SUMMARY: Assists status tier guests with requests for complimentary vouchers and booking amenities in the VIP services area, via telephone or through hosts and authorized gaming personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sign up and issue new player club cards to non carded players thus increasing the data base.
• Inform guests of special upcoming events such as concerts, parties, promotions, etc.
• Assist Executive hosts with completing booking of trips for guests.
• Implement bookings for guests utilizing the VIP services area.
• Assist in special events and promotions as needed. Be prepared to answer questions on promotions and events for guests.
• Monitor the Fountain Room during hours of operation and resolve any food, cleanliness or beverage issues that are found.
• Exercise sound business judgment generating effective solutions quickly and/or raising issue to management as necessary.
• Issue complimentary vouchers based on established guidelines.
• Issue complimentary vouchers as requested by authorized host or casino staff.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment and general property information.
• Complete all required reports as requested.
• Survey and evaluate the gaming floor by using the computer programs Super Play Mate and Omni View , alert host staff as players are found that merit personal attention.
• Safeguards the confidential nature of all departmental and company records.
• All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS: College degree preferred. MS Office knowledge, CDS system knowledge preferred. Must be 100% customer service focused, possess good interpersonal skills, be organized and be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment. Must be detail-oriented, possess computer skills and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Confidentiality is a must. Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment. Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent.
