Our goal is to provide the best service to our customers, taking into account the wealth fare of our advisors, and doing this by maximizing out budget constraints. This is where you come in. You will have a clear view of what our budget looks like and where our spend is in relation to it. You will be our internal advocate for discipline, which will allow everyone to focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.
As a Junior Forecasting Analyst you will be responsible for quarterly updates to our budget forecast, managing our invoicing process and giving guidance to senior leadership on spending. The position will be based out of our Spotify New York office and will include some domestic and international travels. You will report into the Senior Manager of Workforce Management.
What you’ll do
• You will have a unique perspective on our financial position as it relates to our budget.
• You will control communications to senior leadership within customer service to make sure everyone understands where we are in relationship to our goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• You build a strong relationship with our partner sites and internal stakeholders to develop and maintain a process for managing invoices that is clear and efficient.
• You will have a clear understanding of changes to our spend plans and be able to articulate what the impact is and propose alternatives.
• You will mine your information from multiple sources and be able to unify it under a single one.
• You work with CS leadership team cross-functionally to help execute support strategies
• You will assist our data analysts in the data collection and storage.
• You will form strong partnerships with Planning, Demand forecasting and Vendor Management to ensure that the information is up to date and relevant.
Who you are
• 2+ years’ experience in similar roles.
• Bachelor’s degree, with a solid understanding of applied accounting and finance concepts.
• Demonstrated business insight, with the ability to think strategically.
• Goal-oriented and motivated, with a sense of personal accountability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact successfully with senior management
• Good problem solving and financial modeling skills in spreadsheets.
