SVP / Director – New York - Katz Partnerships
Job Summary:
Serves in a business development role to protect and grow radio spend from agencies, advertisers and media buying services for the KRG station partners.
Responsibilities:
• Build deeper customer relationships at agencies through meetings with account, planning and strategy teams to advocate for Radio and the KRG
• Understands the power of Audio, the Katz Platform and ability to create advertising solutions for advertisers
• Develops expertise for assigned accounts and verticals to be proactive with ideas and research to protect and grow spend
• Build relationships with assigned advertisers with individuals with advertising and media responsibilities
• Solicit RFP’s and manage the creative team, sales team to create a proposal that meets the KPI’s for the RFP and close deals
• Leverage relationships to be the resource for Audio and close business
• Execute closed business – managing the activation team, expectations and fulfillment
• Build a sales funnel through prospecting and strategic account plans
• Ongoing learning about the advertising industry, marketing, audio, digital, the competition – becomes an expert in media & marketing
• Understand and use the resources within our company and our broadcast partners to protect and grow spend
• Work with the sales team to uncover opportunities on existing business for incremental spend
• Become a SME (Subject Matter Expert) & resource to help NY sales team close new business
• Be committed to our company and the solutions we represent for advertisers – be positive

Work Experience:
• 10+ years in media sales and/or marketing with a proven track record in business development
• Radio experience preferred but not required
Education:
• 4 year BA or BS required
