Marketing Assistant - Avery, TarcherPerigee
The Avery and TarcherPerigee imprints at Penguin Random House are searching for a Marketing Assistant to join their team! The Assistant will support the Senior Marketing Manager on title marketing campaigns in the health, wellness, cooking, and mind, body, spirit categories and will provide general administrative support to the marketing team.
Specific responsibilities include:
1. Researching online outlets and possible partnerships for book campaigns.
2. Preparing materials for marketing and sales meetings.
3. Writing marketing copy for digital and print ads and promotions.
4. Inputting seasonal plans to an internal database system.
5. Liaising between the Marketing team and the Advertising and Promotions department for assigned projects and maintaining a title advertising grid for both teams.
6. Assisting with content creation for the imprints’ social media platforms.
7. Submitting invoices to the Accounting team on behalf of the department.
8. Providing general administrative support, which includes processing expense reports, executing mailings, updating records, maintaining databases, etc.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Strong understanding of social media platforms
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
