Ready to take the next step in reaching your potential as a communications professional? Bring your experience working in complex global companies with remote employees to a place that values you.
At Bose, we’ve spent decades inventing quality sound experiences. Our Pro division specializes in audio for musicians and for houses of worship, performing arts theatres, restaurant and retail venues, conference and meeting rooms, and other places where people gather together. We plan to significantly grow this business, and need a strategic internal communications manager to build the critical connections and understanding to implement the plan successfully.
WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO
You’ll create communications experiences that educate and engage Pro employees to do what’s needed to grow the business in a time of change. And ensure employees in the rest of company catch that same level of excitement about what we’re doing in Pro.
That means you’ll help leaders communicate effectively, partner on plans for large-scale change efforts, and develop effective communications channels and compelling messaging. You’ll measure the work you’re doing to make sure it’s having the desired impact. And, you’ll serve as a connector with the corporate Internal Communications team to enable consistency and insight in both directions.
WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT
You’re a fit for this brand-new role when you:
• Have solid experience helping leaders be better communicators, managing strategy and change communications, and delivering top-notch strategies, plans and materials
• Know how to navigate complex global organizations, reach the hearts and minds of dispersed remote employees, and make sure there are ways for those employees to be heard.
• Naturally hold the confidence and professionalism to work autonomously with executives, and the openness and respect needed to work with colleagues from different cultures
• Bring the basics: a college degree or an advanced degree in communications, 8 years’ related work experience, and fluency in current communication technologies and tools. Accreditation or certification in communications and/or change management is a plus.
