GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for all aspects of show ticketing for all Silver Legacy entertainment venues.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Includes, but is not limited to the following)
• Day to day management of the ticket system, ticket selling, exchanges, refunds and daily reports;
• Maintain ticket inventory and all appropriate accounting as required by BASS and the Silver Legacy Accounting Department;
• Order all printed collateral and materials (tickets, envelopes, tape, ribbon for Infogenesis and the BASS systems);
• Schedule all shows with BASS, reservations blocks with I.S., and set up appropriate criteria and blocks;
• Issue all tickets off the reservations system, review and correct any errors in tickets pulled and/or money charged on a daily basis in order to have an efficient and friendly environment at Will Call.
• Responsible for filing of all Will Call tickets on a daily basis in order to handle all requests for information, cancellations and changes;
• Work closely with the Director of Special Events to assure VIP and complimentary tickets are handled in a smooth and efficient manner;
• Ensure all equipment is operating properly and keep in communication with BASS with regard to operational problems and down time;
• Keep all departments informed of show schedules, times, availability and any changes in concerts;
• Maintain a daily count report for management;
• Assist in preparation of monthly budget;
• Must be available on the day of all concerts;
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance;
• Other job related duties as may be assigned.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)Understand and comply with all Hotel/Casino and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and employees. Good organizational skills required along with excellent communication skills. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Ability to operate office equipment such as a computer, 10-key, telephone, radio, fax machine, photo copier, printer and shredding machine. Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding to correspondence. Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High school education or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ticketing systems and customer service.
Certificate/License: None required.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an office environment within the casino and may be performed in a tent or pavilion. Work may be performed in areas, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky, illuminated and or dimly lit. Work requires use and knowledge of computer equipment. Work may be performed alone, with others, around others, with verbal and face-to-face contact, and may include extended days.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position).Position requires Team Member to enter & exit from the Team Member entrance which entails 4 flights of stairs (40 stairs).Requires seldom walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, balancing, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., firm/strong grasping with both hands, and finger dexterity; occasional standing, light grasping with both hands, far vision acuity with depth perception, field of vision, accommodation, and color vision; frequent sitting, repetitive use of both hands and near visual acuity. Ability to perform complex tasks, complex reading, writing and math skills.
