The company continues its ninth decade with growth in established and new areas of the performing arts.
Columbia Artists seeks an experienced, career-minded individual, with a passion for the performing arts, to fill an Executive Assistant position in a management office specializing in the Conductor/Instrumental/Orchestral field. Three to five years of experience as an Executive Assistant is essential, as well as a Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree relating to the field.
An acute attention to detail, impeccable organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at a time is critical. Prior experience in the performing arts in a booking, management and/or production setting would serve this individual well. Knowledge of instrumental/orchestral repertoire as well as a facility with multiple languages and prior world travel are a plus.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
*Executive support to Artist Manager including heavy phones, calendar management, expense reports and coordination of business travel
*Significant Client Interaction
*Calendar Management
*Accounting as it relates to Budgeting & Issuance of Monthly Artists Statements
*Engagement and Managerial Contract Administration
* Engagement support including Travel and Housing Logistics, Planning, Budgeting and Operations of orchestra tours.
*Immigration: Visa Filing and Tracking
