The Intern for Live Events Marketing will have an opportunity to work with one of the key leadership teams of an entrepreneurial and vibrant entertainment company. You will be working on a team that conducts over 500 live events all over the world. The internship will give you an opportunity to partner with Local, Regional, and International team members on projects that address strategic and operational initiatives. You will assist in identifying opportunities that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and be involved in the development, testing, execution and tracking of various initiatives.
Objective:
• Help turn concepts and ideas into Live Event strategies/opportunities.
• Gain a deeper understanding of Live Event philosophies inclusive of routing, promotion, event management, marketing, finance, and creative.
• Seek leadership opportunities that challenge current personal capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Work directly with Live Event team members to execute all aspects of event marketing logistics.
• Assist with updating event information in real-time across multiple platforms including social, digital, and internal systems.
• Manage Live Events reporting and tracking systems, inclusive of data entry/extraction.
• Prioritize tasks, set deadlines, and track deliverables to ensure goals are met on time.
• Organize data, develop insights and deliver findings to teams.
• Support administrative tasks as needed.
• Keep current with WWE programming and storylines.
• Work (1) local WWE Live Event.
Qualifications:
• Strong oral and written communication skills with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word; Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator experience a plus.
• Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills.
• Strong ability to multitask.
• Excellent knowledge of digital and social media platforms.
• Solid problem solving and creative thinking skills with ability to multitask and prioritize goals.
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, high-energy work environment.
• Ability to work 25 hours a week.
