Parasol Projects is a pop-up management company founded by art world consultants, made up of architects and artists, organizing temporary exhibitions internationally. Our spaces are available for artists, designers, and creators alike for short-term exhibitions This is an exciting new market, working with amazing brands and artists to assist them with their short term Pop Up projects!

We're looking for an intern 2-3 days a week to assist our small team in a variety of tasks! You will learn first-hand how to run a small business and be involved in different projects related sales, operations, marketing & general tasks.
An ideal candidate for this internship is required to be fluent in English, have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), be extremely detail-oriented and capable of prioritizing shifting responsibilities. A successful candidate will be an energetic self-starter with a poised and friendly demeanor who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Interns are expected to assist occasionally outside regular business hours during exhibition openings and special events, as needed. An interest and familiarity in the art and fashion world is key.
Proficiency in Mac OS and Microsoft Office is a must, and Photoshop and InDesign skills highly preferred. This internship begins immediately and will last through the spring semester. Junior and senior-level undergraduate students are encouraged to apply.
Background in the arts, marketing, business, and/or fashion industry and experience in art gallery, museums or event production preferred.
We ask for a 3-month commitment, we provide a stipend ($20/day to cover lunch and expenses), and can provide school credit. Our office is on the Bowery, near the New Museum.
