Job Summary
CenturyLink Internships give the business an opportunity to train innovative college students pursuing specific disciplines in specific areas beneficial to CenturyLink. The student, in turn, has the opportunity to gain real-world experience and decide if CenturyLink is a good fit for them as they look for employment opportunities in line with their newly acquired degree.
Job Description
Essential Duties
• Monitor project plan established by Project Manager
• Prepare project status reports and complete post job evaluations of work.
• Support the development of communications plans and schedules.
• Collaborate through the formulation and execution of program plans, project plans, strategies and functions.
• Participate in activities with cross-functional teams
• Works with other Program and Project Managers and management to identify and address cross-project dependencies.
• Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed
• Engage in process discussions and support the creation of process flows.
• Support invoice processing, and other general support functions
Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
• Must have a professional, outgoing, customer-service oriented manner Ability to interact with a variety of people, and professional in stressful situations
• Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; able to manage multiple projects
Qualifications
• Must be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines
• Must have a professional, outgoing, customer-service oriented manner
• Participate in required training relating to the Internship
• Perform tasks assigned based on the needs of the business and type of internship
