.The Information Security Manager will partner with the Vice President of Information Security & Technology Risk Management in creating, executing, and maturing WWE’s security strategies. This newly-created position will work closely with internal infrastructure, cyber security applications, and digital departments to implement security controls and execute remediation plans to mitigate risks; and develop policies and procedures for enterprise and system security. The Information Security Manager will also conduct vendor data risk assessments, assist with data privacy and compliance, and conduct security auditing and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work across the organization in developing data security strategies, including working with members of the legal, privacy, and compliance teams
• Work with technology teams in implementing Critical Security Controls (CSC), policies, and processes to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of WWE data
• Assist with the design and implementation of security guidelines and standards
• Conduct data security assessments for new and existing third-party vendors and partners
• Develop and maintain Incident Response plans and supporting policies and procedures
• Participate in the ongoing evaluation of WWE’s overall cyber security efforts and strategies
• Research and participate in the development of new security methodologies and technologies for potential adoption by the organization
• Participate and manage security assessments leveraging internal tools and technologies and in collaboration with key security advisory firms
• Develop, implement, maintain, and enforce policies, procedures, and associated plans for system security, administration, and system and data access based on industry standards
• Assist with existing and new initiatives related to country-specific data privacy, compliance, and regulations
• Lead and/or participate in security awareness and training initiatives
Qualifications:
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in broad Information Security
• Knowledge of common security frameworks and standards (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS CSC, PCI DSS)
• Expertise with network operating systems and software applications necessary to support security administration
• Knowledge of internetworking protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, IDS and IPS services
• Experience in threat intelligence collection and analysis
• Experience in conducting and managing network security assessments and penetration testing
• Experience in applications security and SDLC programs
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, patch management, end-point protection, host based security, security monitoring, and system log management
• Information Security professional certification; e.g., CISM, CGEIT, GIAC and/or other equivalent certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and able to manage time efficiently
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels internally and externally
• High degree of initiative, requiring little or no supervision, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize assignments, solve problems, and meet deadlines
• Able to produce high-quality work in a timely fashion in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related combined work/education experience
