Account Director, Experiences - Pop2Life
Summary
The Account Director, Experiences is a critical role in growing and maintaining new and recurring agency business. This client facing role that works collaboratively across multiple accounts as a senior member of cross-functional account teams. The role develops new business presentations and proposals as well as maintains client relationships to foster new and recurring opportunities. Responsibilities for the position include: overseeing discovery and background research, developing key insights and agency POVs, crafting creative briefs, preparing measurement / ROI plans, and developing brand activation and content strategies.
Responsibilities
• Ability to think across channels to develop 360 marketing strategies that integrate digital, social media, branded content, media, mobile, PR, etc.
• Creation of beautiful and compelling pitch presentations
• Pitch new business presentation to clients with other senior team members
• Delegate responsibilities to junior account team members
• Inspire, lead, and collaborate with a cross-functional account team of creatives, producers, designers, etc. on the development and execution of client projects
• Provide mentorship for account manager(s) with a focus on agency growth and individual team member development
• Uncover key insights that can be used to develop strategies and solutions that meet and exceed client objectives
• Lead the development of assigned projects and opportunities
• Ensure that projects and campaigns are produced according to strategic concept and true to the brand’s principles (be the voice of the client)
• Contribute to pod/agency thought leadership
• Ability to work under pressure on difficult assignment and tight deadlines
Qualifications
• 8-12 years of relevant experience with a demonstrated track record of success
• Experience in a senior role within a marketing firm, creative agency or relevant organization
• Experience inspiring and leading a team in a fast paced always evolving business environment
• Experience leading day-to-day strategy for key clients
