Requirements
Macmillan Learning is currently offering paid internship opportunities for summer 2018. Interns will be provided with the opportunity to participate in work related assignments, gain practical work experience, and network with employees from various departments. Overall, the intern will become familiar with the basic structure of a publishing house and the role of each department within. The Macmillan Learning Internship Program is available for students currently enrolled in a college or university or recent 2018 graduates.
Purpose of the Role:
Support various projects from a data analysis perspective within the Customer Engagement Team surrounding Data Health, Data Quality and necessary Data Updates
Responsibilities:
• Data analysis & manipulation with bulk exports and updates of data from various systems.
• Filter and “clean” data across multiple integrated CRM systems as appropriate for specific Projects / Salesforce Cases / Business Requirements.
• Actively monitor system error logs, data health checks & dashboards to advise internal SMEs of potential data and/or integration issues.
• Proactively communicate progress to key core members of Customer Engagement Team.
Skills/Experience Required:
• Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access required (creating pivot tables, vlookup, hlookup)
• Working knowledge of SQL, Salesforce.com, Salesforce.com Data Loader, Wave Analytics ideal.
• Work experience in relational database principals, management, design, desired.
• Strong communication skills
